Conditional formatting allows you to format controls (text fields, images, sections, and so on) in your reports and documents depending on attribute or metric qualifications. This provides the flexibility to personalize you reports and documents based on the returned data. For an introduction to conditional formatting, see the Basic Reporting Guide.
The Visual Threshold Editor has the following features:
Condition: Add a new condition in the
editor. Select Apply
to save the condition.
Remove All: Erase all changes made to the threshold condition.
Auto-Apply changes: Select the check box to automatically apply changes to the report or document after you have finished updating the threshold.
Thresholds for: Select a metric on which to apply the conditional formatting. Only the metrics displayed in the report or document will appear in the drop-down list.
Type: Select the type of condition to use for the threshold. For example, if you want to define Daily Revenue greater than $40,000, select Value from the drop-down list. This ensures that the threshold is based on an actual value.
Based on: Select the metric on which
the threshold condition is based. You can base the threshold condition
on the metric Itself or another
metric in the report or document. Select Apply
to save the condition.
