This tab is available only if the selected control is a Grid/Graph, widget, or panel stack.
Selector:
Lists the attributes that target the selected control.
Note: The list of attributes targeting the control is not automatically
updated. To update the list, click Apply.
Incremental
Fetch: Determines whether incremental fetch is enabled. To enable
incremental fetch for a Grid/Graph, select the Enable
incremental fetch on grid check box, then enter the Maximum
number of rows per page.
Incremental fetch divides a large
Grid/Graph
into pages, thereby loading the data in batches (or blocks) rather than
all at the same time. Incremental fetch is applied only when the document
is executed in Editable Mode, Interactive Mode, or Express Mode in MicroStrategy
Web. Desktop does not apply incremental fetch to Grid/Graphs. For more
information on incremental fetch for Grid/Graphs, see
Incremental
fetch on Grid/Graphs.
Clip contents of panel stack when exporting: Determines whether to clip the contents displayed in a panel stack when the document is exported. This option is only available for panel stacks. This check box is selected by default.
Transition: Determines whether a transition animation is used to display the object when you open a document for the first time in Flash Mode. The animation also takes place when you or another user chooses an item in a selector that affects an object such as a Grid/Graph. For example, a Grid/Graph may fade slowly onto the screen. This property is available only for Grid/Graphs and panel stacks.
Selected Transition: Select a type of transition animation for the object. This is the type of transition animation that will be used for the object when the document is opened.
Speed: Determine how quickly the transition animation takes place for the object. For example, you can determine how quickly the animation for a panel stack takes place once you open the document. From the drop-down list, select a speed for the transition animation.
